-Kalynda-

Quartz Turkey
Origin: Muğla, south-west Turkey – Coante plant
In a warm grey-beige (greige), with a fine-grained texture and sparse, short white veinlets that form small curves, Kalynda is a Coante quartz surface with a calm, neutral character. Free of strong contrasts, it is a practical choice for kitchen and bathroom countertops with the low maintenance of quartz.

Description & Features

Kalynda is a colour by Coante, the Turkish quartz surface producer based in Muğla, founded by the Ermaş marble group, which manufactures with Breton technology. The photo shows a warm grey-beige background – a shade often called greige or mushroom – with a fine, sandy texture, across which sparse, short white veinlets are scattered evenly, some broken and some curved like small rings. The result is soft and uniform, with no direction, which helps keep joints discreet on long countertops. Like all Coante quartz it is non-porous: the manufacturer states a Mohs hardness of 7, water absorption of less than 0.07% and flexural strength exceeding 35 MPa. Coante produces slabs up to 330 × 164 cm in 15, 20 and 30 mm thicknesses, with a polished or Leather surface; for Kalynda, the available sizes and finishes are confirmed when ordering. It is recommended for kitchen and bathroom countertops, islands, splashbacks and furniture surfaces. For cleaning, a wet cloth and, if needed, a mild neutral cleaner are enough; hot cookware needs a trivet and strong chemicals should be avoided.

Why choose Kalynda
