Granite Egypt
Red Beauty is an Egyptian red granite with a vivid orange-red background and fine grey-black specks in an even, fine to medium grain. It brings warm, strong colour to countertops, floors, stairs, facade cladding and memorials, with the hardness and acid resistance of a granite.

Description & Features

Red Beauty is a granite of Egyptian origin that stands out for its warm, saturated colour. The background ranges from orange-red to coral and brick red, with dense fine grey and black specks and a few light grains, while the fine to medium grain gives a calm, almost velvety texture without veins, consistent across the slab. A polished finish deepens the tone and makes it glow, while honed, flamed or bush-hammered finishes, available on request, soften it and provide a slip-resistant surface for exterior floors and stairs. No published laboratory tests were found for this trade name; the values in the table are therefore typical for granite (density of about 2.6–2.7 g/cm³, hardness of 6–7 Mohs, low water absorption), and for projects with strict specifications checking the lot is advisable. It suits kitchen and bathroom countertops, floors, stairs, window sills and thresholds, wall and facade cladding, as well as memorials and garden features. As a silicate rock it is not etched by kitchen acids, while sealing and cleaning with neutral products keep the colour vivid.

Why choose Red Beauty

Color & PatternOrange-red to coral background with dense fine grey-black specks and a few light grains; fine to medium, even grain
Hardness (Mohs)≈6–7 (typical for granite: feldspar ≈6, quartz 7)
Density (g/cm³)≈2.6–2.7 (typical for granite – no test found for this variety)
Water Absorption (%)≈0.1–0.5 (typical for granite – no test found for this variety)
Compressive Strength (MPa)≈130–220 (typical for granite – no test found for this variety)
Flexural Strength (MPa)≈10–20 (typical for granite – no test found for this variety)
Frost ResistanceGenerally resistant – granites with low water absorption withstand frost and are used for facades and paving; on exterior walking surfaces choose a flamed finish (no test found for this variety)
Acid SensitivityResistant – as a silicate rock it is not etched by kitchen acids; strong acids and descaling cleaners damage the sealer and dull the polish
