-Babilon Seta-

Quartz Turkey
Origin: Manisa Organised Industrial Zone (Belenco – Lotte Chemical plant)
Babilon Seta brings the dark, stony grey of Belenco's Babilon to the matt Seta finish: a granular grey-charcoal surface with small darker specks and faint veinlets, reminiscent of slate. Ideal for countertops, cladding and interior floors that call for a soft, non-reflective look.

Description & Features

Babilon Seta is the matt version of Babilon, with the same colour code 4558, and is part of the Seta Collection, where Belenco gathers the colours it also offers without gloss. In the photo of a full slab, the matt surface gives a softer grey-charcoal image, with a fine, speckled texture, small darker marks and very faint light veinlets, without the reflections of the polished version. Behind the look lies the same Belenco technical profile: water absorption of 0.04% (W4), flexural strength ≥ 40 MPa, abrasion class A4 and reaction to fire A2-s1,d0. In the ASTM C1028 static friction measurement the Seta finish gives 0.66 on a wet surface, noticeably above the 0.47 of the polished one. It comes in the same thicknesses (15, 20, 30 mm) and slab sizes (152 × 310 and 165 × 330 cm) as the polished Babilon. Besides kitchen countertops, islands and bathrooms, it is also used for wall cladding, stairs and interior floors. Care is simple – a damp cloth and a neutral detergent, no sealing or wax – with attention to hot cookware and strong chemicals.
