-Carrara Oro-
Description & Features
Coante, which produces quartz slabs in Muğla, Turkey, with Breton technology, presents Carrara Oro in its premium Essence line as the warm version of classic Carrara marble. Instead of large veins, the pattern is made up of countless small, curved veins in a gold-beige shade, spread almost evenly across the white background; from a distance the surface reads as a bright white with a warm, creamy glow, while up close it reveals its fine texture. As a compact composite of quartz, polyester resin and pigments it is non-porous and hygienic, with water absorption below 0.07% (W4), Mohs hardness 7 and flexural strength above 35 MPa according to Coante's technical data. It comes polished or in a textured leather finish, in Jumbo (330 × 164 cm) and Medium (310 × 152 cm) slabs and in 15, 20 and 30 mm thicknesses. The manufacturer recommends it for kitchen countertops, bathroom applications, wall panels and tabletops, in modern as well as classic interiors. It cleans easily with a damp cloth; using a trivet under hot cookware and avoiding abrasives and harsh chemicals keep it looking good for years.
