-Columbia Grey-

Quartz Turkey
Origin: Manisa Organised Industrial Zone (Belenco – Lotte Chemical plant)
An even medium grey, with no veins and an extremely fine grain: Columbia Grey (officially Columbia Gray) from Belenco's Essential series is a clean, solid-colour quartz surface. Understated and timeless, it highlights clean lines with minimal maintenance – ideal for contemporary kitchens, bathrooms and furniture.

Description & Features

In the Essential series, which Belenco describes as a choice of quality materials with simple, functional details, Columbia Grey – Columbia Gray in its official name – is one of the most pared-back options. It is a clean, neutral medium grey, almost solid: in the photo the surface is even from edge to edge, with an extremely fine grain visible only very close up, without veins, specks or patches. This uniformity, typical of quartz surfaces, makes it easier to keep the colour consistent from slab to slab on large surfaces. It is produced with Bretonstone technology in Manisa by Lotte Chemical and, according to Belenco's data, has water absorption of 0.04%, compressive strength of about 230 MPa, impact resistance ≥ 3 J and reaction to fire A2-s1,d0. It is supplied in a polished finish, in Jumbo 165 × 330 cm or Extra 152 × 310 cm slabs, 15, 20 or 30 mm thick. Its even look is used for kitchen countertops, islands, bathrooms and furniture, as well as for large areas of wall cladding, stairs and interior floors. Care needs only a damp cloth with a little neutral liquid soap; no sealing is required, but hot cookware needs a trivet, and solvents, strong acids and alkalis should be avoided.

Why choose Columbia Grey
