-Milet-
Description & Features
A deep grey with a stone-like texture: this is what Milet brings to the Antique series of Coante’s Essence line. The background is a dark charcoal, almost graphite, with a fine grain, across which spread lacy networks of fine white veinlets and white specks, accompanied by short black, thread-like lines; the veins are loosely organised in horizontal bands, giving the slab movement and depth without making it busy. The material is produced in Muğla, Turkey, with Breton technology, from quartz grains and polyester resin vibro-compressed into a compact, non-porous slab. In Coante’s technical data water absorption stays below 0.07%, hardness reaches 7 on the Mohs scale and abrasion resistance is class A4 (28 mm per EN 14617-4). It can be chosen in a light-reflecting polished finish or in a textured Leather finish, while slabs reach 330 × 164 cm (Jumbo) or 310 × 152 cm (Medium), in three thicknesses: 15, 20 and 30 mm. It is used for kitchen countertops, islands, bathroom vanity tops and wall cladding, where it pairs naturally with a minimalist or industrial style. In daily use a wet cloth with a neutral cleaner is enough, provided abrasives, solvents and direct contact with hot cookware are avoided.
