-Rhapsody-
Description & Features
Rhapsody, a design by Aurea Stone, has something of a spontaneous sketch about it: on a white background with a soft lilac-grey tint, countless fine dark veins in brown to aubergine cross in every direction and form a dense web, like cracked ice. Towards the bottom and along one side of the slab appear zones of amber, ochre and golden orange, as well as a band of small fragments that recalls a breccia, while the upper part stays lighter and airier. Aurea Stone produces the Symphony printed surfaces at plants in Vietnam and China, according to the EPD, and their material is not quartz: it is RGS, up to 90% recycled materials such as glass with resins, using crystalline-silica-free materials, and it is cut and installed like quartz. The pattern is printed with Nano-Ink on one face and penetrates up to 1 mm, so mitred edges are recommended. The line comes in 3200 × 1600 mm slabs, 20 mm thick, with a polished finish and a NEOS anti-stain protectant that is safe for food contact. It suits islands, kitchen and bathroom countertops, tables and wall cladding, for interior use only. Cleaning is done with a damp cloth and a neutral-pH cleaner.
Why choose Rhapsody
- Graphic web of dark veins with amber zones
- Recycled-glass surface – cuts like quartz
- Crystalline-silica-free materials
- NEOS protectant – minimal maintenance
