-Calacatta Aurora Gold-

Quartz Turkey
Origin: Muğla, south-west Turkey – Coante plant
Calacatta Aurora Gold is the warm, golden version of Calacatta Aurora in Coante's Ultra series: fine honey and ochre veins branch across a soft white background. A quartz surface that adds warmth and glow to kitchen countertops, islands and bathrooms, with minimal maintenance.

Description & Features

In the Ultra series of its Essence line, Coante offers the Aurora design in two tones, and Calacatta Aurora Gold is the warm version. The vein layout is the same as in the grey Calacatta Aurora – a dense, branching web running mainly diagonally – but here the fine lines are honey and ochre in colour, with small golden-brown flecks along them, on a soft white background with a slightly warm tint. The result is warmer and brighter without losing the airy feel of the white. It is produced in Muğla, Turkey, with Breton technology from quartz grains bound with resin, and it is non-porous: according to Coante's data, water absorption stays below 0.07%, flexural strength exceeds 35 MPa and hardness reaches 7 Mohs, while the company gives a warranty of up to 15 years against manufacturing defects. It is available in 330 × 164 cm and 310 × 152 cm slabs, in 15, 20 and 30 mm thicknesses, polished or leather. It is ideal for kitchen countertops, islands that act as the focal point of the room, bathroom vanity tops and wall cladding. Daily care is done with a damp cloth, with a trivet under hot cookware and without abrasive or polishing products.
