Instead of bold veining, Calacatta Venatino, a design from Belenco's Prestige series, offers a gentler style: across the soft white background spreads an irregular network of very fine, wavy grey hairline veins, small and scattered, while a few fainter lines run across the slab over a longer distance. The look stays even from edge to edge and suits rooms where the material should accompany rather than dominate. Belenco, a subsidiary of Lotte Chemical, makes its slabs in the Manisa Organised Industrial Zone with Bretonstone technology, from a mix of more than 90% natural quartz, binder and inorganic pigments. According to its data, water absorption is 0.04% (class W4), flexural strength exceeds 40 MPa and chemical resistance corresponds to class C4. Its slabs are polished, in Extra (152 × 310 cm) and Jumbo (165 × 330 cm) sizes and in three thicknesses (15, 20 and 30 mm), while the series also includes a matt Seta version, with availability on request. It is suitable for kitchen and bathroom countertops, splashbacks, wall cladding, interior floors and stairs. Care comes down to a damp cloth with neutral soap and a trivet under hot cookware.
