-Calacatta Bianco Nero-
Description & Features
The slabs of Calacatta Bianco Nero belong to a range made slab by slab, by hand, by three Far East companies on their own lines instead of Breton – so on large projects it is worth selecting the slabs in person. For spaces that call for strong contrast, the design combines a clean white background with wide veins in a bold grey that branch like rivers and in places merge into large grey masses with a cloudy, swirling texture, enclosing small white islands. Between the main veins, fine grey cracks and scattered flecks give depth to the white fields. The result recalls the most dramatic Calacatta and Statuario marbles, with a bold character that shows best on large surfaces. The combination of quartz grains and resin gives a non-porous surface with no need for sealing; no technical sheet has been published, so the values in the table are the usual ones for quartz surfaces. The slab is polished; for sizes and thicknesses, ask for confirmation with the quotation. It looks its best on islands and wall cladding, but works equally well on kitchen and bathroom countertops or furniture; it cleans easily with a damp cloth, while hot cookware, strong chemicals and direct sun are best avoided.
Why choose Calacatta Bianco Nero

- Dramatic look for islands and feature walls
- Every slab unique – shaped by hand
