-Calacatta Vivaldi-
Description & Features
Taking its name from the Italian composer and inspired by classic Italian marbles, Calacatta Vivaldi is a restrained design in Coante's Ultra series. The background is a bright white with a barely warm tint and a very fine grain; a few fine grey veins meander diagonally with small zigzags and soft branches, leaving large, clean white areas between them. The same design is also available in a golden version, as Calacatta Vivaldi Gold. Coante produces it at its plant in Muğla, on Breton-technology lines that compact quartz grains with resin into solid slabs. The result is a non-porous material with water absorption below 0.07%, flexural strength above 35 MPa, Mohs hardness 7 and frost resistance KMf25 = 0.98. It comes in Jumbo 330 × 164 cm and Medium 310 × 152 cm slabs, 15, 20 or 30 mm thick, polished or leather. It is ideal for kitchen islands, countertops, bathroom surfaces and wall cladding, where the sparse veins give calm movement without tiring the eye. Maintenance is simple: a damp cloth, a neutral cleaner for stubborn stains, a cutting board and a trivet for hot cookware.
