-Calacatta Verona-
Description & Features
Dark grey, almost charcoal lines on white: that sums up the look of Calacatta Verona. Its veins are thin, with a fragmented texture and small branches, and they cross the background in long diagonal paths that in places draw close to each other, leaving clean white areas in between. It is a design from the Prestige series of Belenco, an engineered-quartz producer with plants in Manisa, Turkey, which operates under Lotte Chemical and uses Bretonstone technology. The combination of quartz grains and resin produces a dense surface without pores: Belenco's figures give water absorption of 0.04%, compressive strength of around 230 MPa and chemical resistance class C4, and under the company's NSF 51 certification the surface is considered safe for food preparation. Available thicknesses are 15, 20 and 30 mm, and the slabs come in Jumbo (165 × 330 cm) and Extra (152 × 310 cm) sizes with a polished finish. It suits kitchen countertops, islands, bathroom vanity tops, wall cladding and furniture, especially next to black or graphite details. It is easy to clean with a damp cloth and neutral soap; strong acids, alkalis and direct contact with hot cookware should be avoided.
Why choose Calacatta Verona
- Crisp contrast: dark grey veins on a white background
- Belenco Prestige series (Lotte Chemical)
- NSF 51 certification for food contact (Belenco)
- Chemical resistance C4 and water absorption 0.04%

Export & project supply
SKARIS MARBLE supplies Calacatta Verona to stone importers, fabricators, architects and hotel projects outside Greece. From our facility in Thessaloniki we handle the whole order in-house:
- Slab selection and matching – we grade and match the slabs for colour and veining, so a large order stays uniform across the whole project.
- Cut-to-size and finishing – pieces cut, edged and finished to your drawings, numbered per room or elevation and ready to install.
- Mixed shipments – Greek marbles, granites, porous limestone (porolithos) and quartz surfaces can be combined in one order.
- Export packing – crated and labelled for sea or road freight, ex-works Thessaloniki; delivered terms quoted on request.
Send us your drawings or quantities and we will come back with a quotation and availability.
