-Calacatta Paletino-

Quartz Turkey
Origin: Manisa Organised Industrial Zone (Belenco – Lotte Chemical plant)
Wide, soft grey veins with gold-ochre edges cross the bright white background of Calacatta Paletino, a quartz surface from Belenco's Prestige series. It combines the atmosphere of a golden Calacatta with the stain resistance and low maintenance of quartz – ideal for islands, kitchen countertops and bathrooms with a warm, bright look.

Description & Features

A member of the Prestige series of Belenco – a company that has belonged to the LOTTE group since 2019 – Calacatta Paletino is produced in the Manisa Organised Industrial Zone with Bretonstone technology. The background is bright white, crossed by wide, soft grey veins with irregular, slightly jagged outlines that branch here and there or close into a loop; along them, and in fine parallel lines, small gold-ochre touches appear and warm up the overall picture. Behind the marble look lies a compact, non-porous material of quartz and resin: according to Belenco's technical sheets it absorbs just 0.04% water, has a density of 2.3–2.4 g/cm³ and a compressive strength of about 230 MPa dry and 244 MPa wet (ASTM C170). It comes in a polished finish, in 15, 20 and 30 mm thicknesses and in Extra (152 × 310 cm) and Jumbo (165 × 330 cm) slabs, sizes that allow large islands with minimal joints. It is suited to kitchen and bathroom countertops, islands, splashbacks, wall cladding and furniture. Daily cleaning only needs a damp cloth with a mild neutral cleaner (pH 5–8.5); polishing is done only at the factory, so the surface is not re-polished on site.

Why choose Calacatta Paletino

  • Grey veins with gold-ochre touches, Calacatta style
  • Belenco Prestige series (LOTTE group)
  • Jumbo 165 × 330 cm slabs for islands with fewer joints
  • Water absorption only 0.04% – no sealing
