-Idyma-
Description & Features
In Idyma, from the Antique series of Coante's Essence line, the veins are lighter than the background – and that gives it a distinctive character. The base is a soft, warm grey-beige (greige) with a fine grain, crossed by short, irregular white veins, like fine cracks or thin clouds, spread across the whole slab; the manufacturer speaks of beige-white tones and subtle movement in the veining, on a surface that gently reflects light and makes the room feel brighter. It is produced in Muğla, Turkey, on Breton lines from quartz particles, polyester resin and pigments that are vibro-compressed, so the surface is non-porous and durable: Coante gives water absorption below 0.07% (W4), Mohs hardness 7, flexural strength above 35 MPa and chemical resistance class C4. It comes in polished and textured leather finishes, in Jumbo 330 × 164 cm and Medium 310 × 152 cm slabs, with 15, 20 and 30 mm thicknesses. It suits kitchen countertops and islands, bathroom vanity tops, splashbacks and wall cladding, in contemporary as well as more classic schemes. Day-to-day care is limited to wiping with a damp cloth; abrasives, solvents and hot cookware without a trivet should be avoided.
Why choose Idyma
- Greige background with fine white veins
- Warm neutral tone for modern or classic schemes
- Water absorption < 0.07% – no sealing
- Polished or leather, 15/20/30 mm thick
