As its name implies, Thunder Ultra evokes a thunderbolt, and it is a design in Coante's Ultra series with strong visual contrast. On a brilliant, clean white background, fine veins in dark grey with a blue-charcoal tint run diagonally in long bands; their edges are spiky, with small offshoots like sparks, and in places they branch like lightning. The veins are fine but dark, so the pattern reads clearly even from a distance without covering the white. Coante, founded in 2018 and based in Menteşe, Muğla, makes it with Breton technology; according to its data, the material is non-porous with water absorption below 0.07%, has a flexural strength above 35 MPa, has Mohs hardness 7 and chemical resistance class C4. Slabs are Jumbo 330 × 164 cm or Medium 310 × 152 cm, in 15, 20 and 30 mm thicknesses, with a polished or textured leather finish. It suits minimalist and bolder kitchens, islands, bathroom vanity tops and wall cladding. Care is simple, with a damp cloth and a neutral cleaner; hot cookware goes on a trivet and cutting is always done on a cutting board.
