Description & Features
In Jazz, Aurea Stone – the maker of the Symphony printed surfaces, which according to the EPD are produced at plants in Vietnam and China – offers a pared-back, minimal take on white marble. The background is a clean, bright white crossed by a few broad veins in soft grey with a warm, slightly greige tint, running lengthwise and diagonally across the slab; fine lines in golden ochre and dark brown cut across them like hairline cracks. Large clear areas let the white dominate, for a light, contemporary result. Like the whole line, it is not quartz but an RGS surface made from recycled materials such as glass with resins, using crystalline-silica-free materials; it is cut and fabricated with quartz methods. The pattern is printed with Nano-Ink technology up to 1 mm deep and on one face only, so mitred edges are recommended. The line is produced in 3200 × 1600 mm slabs, 20 mm thick, with a polished finish. The NEOS protectant repels stains and is safe for food contact (NSF certification). It is suited to kitchen countertops, islands, bathroom vanity tops and wall cladding, for interior use only; cleaning only needs a damp cloth with a neutral-pH cleaner.
