-Starlet-

Quartz Turkey
Origin: Muğla, south-west Turkey – Coante plant
Sparkle and texture come together in Coante's Starlet: a light grey-white background full of small angular chips in translucent grey, white and black, with specks that glint when they catch the light. A quartz surface from the Starlight series (Essence line), lively and practical for kitchen countertops and bathrooms.

Description & Features

Starlet from the Starlight series (Essence line) moves away from the marble look and is closer to a granular stone – dense, lively and dotted with small glints. The light, slightly warm grey-white background is packed with grains and small angular fragments of various sizes – translucent grey like crystals, white, dark grey and black – while scattered bright specks sparkle when they catch the light; Coante describes these details as starlike shine in everyday life, bringing movement and dynamism to the room. It is produced in Muğla, Turkey, with Breton technology from quartz particles, polyester resin and pigments that are vibro-compressed; it is non-porous, with water absorption below 0.07%, Mohs hardness 7 and abrasion resistance class A4 according to Coante's data. It is available in polished and leather finishes, in Jumbo 330 × 164 cm and Medium 310 × 152 cm slabs and in 15, 20 and 30 mm thicknesses. The manufacturer recommends it for kitchen countertops and bathrooms; it also suits islands, splashbacks and interior stairs. Care is simple: a damp cloth, a neutral cleaner when needed, a trivet for hot cookware and no abrasives or solvents.
