-Kimolos-
Description & Features
Kimolos is made by one of three experienced Far East producers, on lines that are not Breton and slab by slab, by hand – which is why the flow is convincing and every piece unique. The design has strong movement: on a white background, wide bands in blue-grey and silvery grey sweep diagonally across the slab, rising towards the right, together with feathered lines, parallel striations and darker, angular fragments as in a breccia, while charcoal tones appear in places. The palette is cool and bright and the flow continuous across the whole surface, recalling white marbles with grey waves, such as Volakas. In everyday use it offers the advantages of quartz: it has no pores, needs no sealing and cleans easily; no test data are published for this particular product, which is why the table shows typical values. It comes in a polished version; sizes and thicknesses are confirmed per project. Thanks to its continuous flow it shows at its best on islands, large countertops, wall cladding and bathrooms. Maintenance is limited to a damp cloth with a neutral cleaner; hot cookware needs a trivet and sunny outdoor areas are not suitable.
Why choose Kimolos
- Blue-grey bands flowing across the whole slab
- Strong movement for large surfaces
- Cool, bright palette of white and silver
- Non-porous – no sealing

| Color & Pattern | White background with dense diagonal bands in blue-grey and silver, with darker angular fragments |
| Hardness (Mohs) | ≈7 (typical for quartz surfaces) |
| Density (g/cm³) | ≈2.3–2.5 (typical range for quartz surfaces – not stated for this product) |
| Water Absorption (%) | Very low (typically < 0.1% for quartz surfaces – no value stated for this product) |
| Frost Resistance | Recommended for interiors; no freeze–thaw test data are published for this product and, because of the resin binder, permanent sun exposure (UV) can change the colour |
