-Limnos-
Description & Features
Limnos is produced in the Far East with technology other than Breton and each slab is made individually by hand, so the flow of the bands differs from slab to slab and the slabs are worth choosing in person. Cream, sand beige and taupe brown make up its palette: broad, curving bands in beige and cream flow over a cream-ivory background, alternating with whiter strips and outlined by finer veins in taupe and khaki tones, while a fine, sandy grain is visible across the whole surface. The flow suggests waves running diagonally down the slab and the contrast is low, giving a soft look that recalls cream quartzites or marbles with wavy veining. Its composition of quartz grains and resin makes it non-porous and stain-resistant, with no sealing; no technical values are given for this colour, so the table shows the typical ones. It is provided with a polished surface, while thicknesses and sizes need to be confirmed. Its warm palette suits kitchens with countertops and islands, bathroom vanity tops, wall cladding, interior stairs and tables; a damp cloth with a mild cleaner is enough, while hot cookware and sun should be avoided.
Why choose Limnos

- Sandy texture with a natural feel
- Low contrast – a soft, earthy look
- Non-porous, easy to care for

| Hardness (Mohs) | ≈7 (typical for quartz surfaces) |
| Density (g/cm³) | ≈2.3–2.5 (typical range for quartz surfaces – not stated for this product) |
| Water Absorption (%) | Very low (typically < 0.1% for quartz surfaces – no value stated for this product) |
| Frost Resistance | Recommended for interiors; no freeze–thaw test data are published for this product and, because of the resin binder, permanent sun exposure (UV) can change the colour |
