Aurora Belenco is Belenco's colour Aurora, part of the Natural series, through which the manufacturer aims to bring the calm of nature into the home. Behind Belenco is Lotte Chemical Turkey, which produces the slabs in Manisa with Bretonstone technology. Across a full slab one sees a light grey-white background over which short, hazy, pale-grey veins and small flecks spread like faint clouds; the contrast is low, so the surface reads as a whole, while the polished finish gives it depth and reflections. Belenco's technical data state water absorption of 0.04%, flexural strength ≥ 40 MPa (class F4), compressive strength of about 230 MPa and impact resistance of at least 3 J; the surface needs no sealing. Belenco slabs are produced in Extra 152 × 310 cm and Jumbo 165 × 330 cm sizes, in 15, 20 and 30 mm thicknesses. Aurora Belenco suits kitchen and bathroom countertops, islands, wall cladding, stairs and furniture, wherever a bright but not entirely solid white is wanted. For cleaning use a damp cloth and cleaners with pH 5–8.5; avoid solvents, strong alkalis and direct contact with hot cookware.
