-Statuario Net-
Description & Features
Statuario Net belongs to a quartz series produced by three Far East companies on their own production lines rather than with Breton technology; each slab is made individually, by hand, so that the pattern comes as close as possible to natural stone. Broader veins in soft grey with darker edges run diagonally across a bright, almost pure white background, while between them spreads a dense mesh of fine dark grey lines that in places form small polygonal cells, much like a net. As a composite of quartz grains and resin it is non-porous and needs no sealing; no technical values are published for this product, so the usual figures for engineered quartz serve as a guide (hardness of about 7 on the Mohs scale, very low water absorption). It comes in a polished finish; ask for slab thickness and size to be confirmed with the quotation. It suits kitchen and bathroom countertops, islands, wall cladding and splashbacks, as well as furniture. Because every slab is different, it is best to select the slabs before cutting; care only needs a damp cloth with a little mild detergent, while hot cookware needs a trivet and strong chemicals should be kept away.
Why choose Statuario Net
- White background with a net-like pattern of grey veins
- Statuario-style design with long diagonal veins
- Each slab made individually, for a look closer to natural stone
- Non-porous – no sealing, easy cleaning
Technical Specifications
| Material | Engineered quartz composite – quartz grains bound with resin, slabs produced one at a time (not Breton technology) |
| Color & Pattern | Clean white background with soft grey diagonal veins and a fine net of dark grey hairline veins |
| Hardness (Mohs) | ≈7 (typical for quartz surfaces) |
| Density (g/cm³) | ≈2.3–2.5 (typical range for quartz surfaces – not stated for this product) |
| Water Absorption (%) | Very low (typically < 0.1% for quartz surfaces – no value stated for this product) |
| Frost Resistance | For interior use – no freeze–thaw data are given for this product, and the resin binder of quartz surfaces is not suited to permanent sun exposure (UV can change the colour) |
| Acid Sensitivity | High stain resistance thanks to the non-porous surface; no chemical-resistance class is given, so strong acids, alkalis and solvents should be avoided |
| Recommended Finishes | Polished |

Export & project supply
SKARIS MARBLE supplies Statuario Net to stone importers, fabricators, architects and hotel projects outside Greece. From our facility in Thessaloniki we handle the whole order in-house:
- Slab selection and matching – we grade and match the slabs for colour and veining, so a large order stays uniform across the whole project.
- Cut-to-size and finishing – pieces cut, edged and finished to your drawings, numbered per room or elevation and ready to install.
- Mixed shipments – Greek marbles, granites, porous limestone (porolithos) and quartz surfaces can be combined in one order.
- Export packing – crated and labelled for sea or road freight, ex-works Thessaloniki; delivered terms quoted on request.
Send us your drawings or quantities and we will come back with a quotation and availability.
