Quartz Turkey
Origin: Manisa Organised Industrial Zone (Belenco – Lotte Chemical plant)
Almost solid and bright, Polaris from Belenco's Classic series is a neutral white with minimal, barely perceptible cloudy shading. It lets the lines of the design take centre stage and, with the strength of quartz, is suited to kitchen countertops, islands, bathrooms and furniture.

Description & Features

Polaris, from Belenco's Classic series, is an almost solid white for those who want clean lines without pattern. Belenco, acquired by Lotte Advanced Materials (now Lotte Chemical) of the Korean LOTTE group, produces its quartz slabs in the Manisa Organised Industrial Zone in Turkey with the Bretonstone technology of the Italian company Breton. The surface is a bright, neutral white without veins, grains or specks; only a very soft, cloudy shading can be seen up close, enough to keep it from looking completely flat. This clarity makes it suitable for modern kitchens and bathrooms, or for spaces where the material should not compete with the other elements. Belenco's technical sheet states water absorption of 0.04% (W4), flexural strength ≥ 40 MPa (F4), compressive strength of about 230 MPa and reaction to fire A2-s1,d0. According to the colour list, Polaris is available polished, in 15, 20 and 30 mm thicknesses and in Extra (152 × 310 cm) and Jumbo (165 × 330 cm) slabs. It is used for kitchen and bathroom countertops, islands, splashbacks, furniture and wall cladding. It is cleaned with a damp cloth and a little neutral soap, needs no sealing and calls for a trivet under hot cookware; solvents and strong acids or alkalis should be avoided.

Export & project supply

SKARIS MARBLE supplies Polaris to stone importers, fabricators, architects and hotel projects outside Greece. From our facility in Thessaloniki we handle the whole order in-house:

  • Slab selection and matching – we grade and match the slabs for colour and veining, so a large order stays uniform across the whole project.
  • Cut-to-size and finishing – pieces cut, edged and finished to your drawings, numbered per room or elevation and ready to install.
  • Mixed shipments – Greek marbles, granites, porous limestone (porolithos) and quartz surfaces can be combined in one order.
  • Export packing – crated and labelled for sea or road freight, ex-works Thessaloniki; delivered terms quoted on request.

Send us your drawings or quantities and we will come back with a quotation and availability.
