-Zenit-

Quartz Turkey
Origin: Muğla, south-west Turkey – Coante plant
Zenit by Coante (Allure series) has a dark charcoal background on which fine white veins rise diagonally, branch and converge like lightning trails in a night sky. An elegant, dramatic quartz surface for modern kitchens, islands, bathrooms and cladding.

Description & Features

Zenit belongs to the Allure series of Coante's Essence line and takes its mood from the night sky. The background is a dark charcoal grey, very close to black, with a fine, even texture; on it, fine, crisp white veins rise diagonally from lower left to upper right, split into branches and meet again, forming a fan of lines that recalls lightning trails. The contrast between white and charcoal is strong, but the veins remain fine, so the surface keeps an elegant, restrained look. Coante was founded in 2018 by the Ermaş group, which has quarries and factories in Muğla, and uses Breton technology to compact quartz grains, resin and pigments into solid slabs; according to its data, water absorption is below 0.07%, flexural strength above 35 MPa and Mohs hardness 7, and the company gives a warranty of up to 15 years against manufacturing defects. Slabs reach 330 × 164 cm (a 310 × 152 cm size is also made), in 15, 20 or 30 mm thicknesses, with a polished or leather surface. It is suited to kitchen countertops and islands, bathroom vanity tops, wall cladding and tables, where it easily becomes the focal point of a minimalist space. It cleans with a damp or microfibre cloth; no abrasives, solvents or oven cleaners.
