-Alia-
Description & Features
Alia is part of the range from Coante, the Turkish quartz-surface producer founded in 2018 in Muğla by the Ermaş group, which has worked in marble and travertine since 1985. The background is off-white with a fine, almost sandy grain, densely scattered with small flecks and short, irregular fragments in grey, beige-brown and, more rarely, dark grey; the result is a lively yet calm surface without pronounced veins. According to Coante, its slabs are made with Breton technology from quartz particles, polyester resin and pigments that are vibro-compressed, so the material is compact and non-porous, with water absorption below 0.07% (class W4), Mohs hardness 7 and flexural strength above 35 MPa. The company produces Jumbo (330 × 164 cm) and Medium (310 × 152 cm) slabs in 15, 20 and 30 mm thicknesses; for Alia, availability, sizes and finishes are confirmed at the quotation stage. It is suited to kitchen and bathroom countertops, islands, splashbacks and interior wall cladding. It cleans with a damp or microfibre cloth; a trivet should always go under hot cookware, and abrasives and harsh chemicals are best avoided.
Why choose Alia
- White with a fine speckled pattern in grey and beige-brown
- Coante – quartz made on Breton lines
- Water absorption < 0.07% – no sealing
- Mohs hardness 7 (Coante data)
