White, bright and full of movement, Teos comes from the Pure series, where Belenco gathers its cleanest, lightest designs. In the slab image the background is a brilliant, neutral white, while fine grey veins in light and medium tones branch in a dense, wavy way, forming a lacy mesh with a slight vertical flow; small white, crystalline grains can also be seen here and there. The result recalls a white marble with dense, fine veining, with the uniformity of a quartz. It is made in Manisa with Bretonstone technology and, according to Belenco, has water absorption of 0.04%, compressive strength of about 230 MPa and flexural strength ≥ 40 MPa; the producer also reports NSF certification for safe food contact. Polished Teos slabs measure 152 × 310 cm (Extra) or 165 × 330 cm (Jumbo) and are 15, 20 or 30 mm thick. It is ideal for bright kitchens with an island, bathroom vanity tops and splashbacks, and can also be used for wall cladding, stairs and floors. It needs no sealing; a damp cloth with a mild neutral cleaner is enough, with a trivet under hot cookware and no strong acids, alkalis or solvents.
