-Arabescato NG-
Description & Features
Arabescato NG belongs to a range of quartz slabs from three experienced Far East producers who work on their own lines instead of Breton and make every slab individually by hand – which is why the pattern varies slightly from slab to slab. A fine web of dark grey, almost charcoal veins spreads across the entire surface, forming large, irregular cells on a bright white background; between them, small curling grey strokes and soft flecks add life and recall the net-like pattern of Italian Arabescato marble. The veins follow no single dominant direction, so the pattern is spread evenly over the whole slab. It is a composite of quartz grains and resin – non-porous, needing no sealing and resisting stains well; the producer publishes no technical sheet, so the table gives only typical values for quartz surfaces (hardness around 7 Mohs, very low water absorption). It is supplied polished, while sizes and thicknesses are confirmed when ordering. It suits kitchen and bathroom countertops, islands, splashbacks and furniture. Clean it with a damp cloth and a neutral detergent; it needs a trivet under hot cookware and is not intended for sunny outdoor areas.
Why choose Arabescato NG

- Pattern spread over the whole slab, no dominant direction
- Each slab shaped individually by hand
- Non-porous – no sealing needed
Technical Specifications
| Material | Engineered quartz composite – quartz grains bound with resin; each slab shaped individually by hand on non-Breton production lines |
| Color & Pattern | Bright white background with a dense web of fine charcoal veins and small curling grey strokes |
| Hardness (Mohs) | ≈7 (typical for quartz surfaces) |
| Density (g/cm³) | ≈2.3–2.5 (typical range for quartz surfaces – not stated for this product) |
| Water Absorption (%) | Very low (typically < 0.1% for quartz surfaces – no value stated for this product) |
| Frost Resistance | Recommended for interiors; no freeze–thaw test data are published for this product and, because of the resin binder, permanent sun exposure (UV) can change the colour |
| Acid Sensitivity | High stain resistance thanks to the non-porous surface; no chemical-resistance class is published – avoid strong acids, alkalis and solvents |
| Recommended Finishes | Polished |

- Cut-to-size and finishing – pieces cut, edged and finished to your drawings, numbered per room or elevation and ready to install.
- Mixed shipments – Greek marbles, granites, porous limestone (porolithos) and quartz surfaces can be combined in one order.
- Export packing – crated and labelled for sea or road freight, ex-works Thessaloniki; delivered terms quoted on request.
