-Calacatta Aurora-

Quartz Turkey
Origin: Muğla, south-west Turkey – Coante plant
Calacatta Aurora is a quartz surface from Coante's Ultra series, with a bright white background and a dense web of very fine grey veins that branch like slender twigs. A clean, slightly cool white with subtle movement and easy cleaning – suited to kitchen and bathroom countertops in contemporary or classic settings.

Description & Features

The name Calacatta Aurora alludes to the light of daybreak, and Coante places it in the Ultra series of its premium Essence line. A dense web of very fine grey veins spreads across a bright, slightly cool white background, branching like slender twigs and running mainly diagonally, with small dark specks along them; the look is airy, without strong contrasts. This is the grey version of the design, as the same vein layout appears in a golden tone in Calacatta Aurora Gold. It is produced in Muğla with Breton technology, from quartz grains, resin and pigments compacted into solid, non-porous slabs: water absorption is below 0.07%, Mohs hardness is 7, flexural strength exceeds 35 MPa and abrasion resistance is rated class A4. It comes in 15, 20 and 30 mm thicknesses, in Jumbo 330 × 164 cm and Medium 310 × 152 cm slabs, polished or with a textured leather surface. It is suited to kitchen and bathroom countertops, islands, wall cladding and splashbacks, as well as interior floors. It cleans easily with a damp cloth; a neutral cleaner is enough for stubborn stains, while abrasive powders and caustic chemicals should be avoided.
