-Carrara Q-
Description & Features
Carrara Q belongs to a range of quartz slabs from Far East producers that work on their own production lines rather than with Breton technology. The background is an almost pure white, covered by a dense web of very fine, light grey veins that branch in every direction and form irregular cells, like the hairline cracks of Carrara marble. Contrast is low: from a distance the slab looks almost plain white, and the pattern reveals itself only up close. As a composite of quartz grains and resin it is non-porous and needs no sealing; no technical sheet is published for the product, so the values in the table are typical for quartz surfaces (hardness about 7 Mohs). It is offered in a polished finish, while slab sizes and thicknesses are confirmed with the quotation. It suits kitchen and bathroom countertops, islands, splashbacks and wall cladding, wherever the freshness of white marble is wanted with the low maintenance of quartz. Care only needs a damp cloth with a mild neutral cleaner; strong acids and solvents, direct contact with hot cookware and permanent exposure to outdoor sun should be avoided.
Why choose Carrara Q
- White background with a fine grey Carrara-style vein web
- Low contrast – reads almost plain white from a distance
- Non-porous, no sealing required
- Bright polished surface for kitchens and bathrooms
