Two layers of pattern coexist in Calacatta Valencia: a network of fine grey veins, in places with a warm greige tint, intersecting diagonally on the white background, and wider grey bands with a mottled, fragmented texture, like marble fragments caught inside the vein. The result recalls Calacatta-type marbles with strong movement. The design belongs to Belenco's Prestige series; the company, part of the LOTTE group, produces at its two factories in the Manisa Organised Industrial Zone (Yunusemre) with Bretonstone technology. The brand's technical data include water absorption of 0.04%, compressive strength of about 230 MPa, impact resistance of at least 3 J and freeze–thaw resistance per EN 14617-5. It comes polished, in Jumbo (165 × 330 cm) and Extra (152 × 310 cm) slabs and in 15, 20 and 30 mm thicknesses, and there is also a bookmatch version, in which the pattern of two adjacent slabs opens symmetrically like a book. The bold pattern stands out on islands, kitchen and bathroom countertops, wall cladding and interior floors. It needs no sealer or wax; it is cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap, away from solvents and strong acids.
