-Petra Pax-
Description & Features
Digitally printed with 3D InkJet technology at micron-level precision, Petra Pax is a member of the Natural series in Coante’s Arteo line. It is of the Printed Full Body type: the quartz base on which the print is applied is produced so that it already contains the main design features of the pattern, so even the cut edges give the impression that the design continues through the body – an advantage for visible edges and sink cut-outs. The colour is a warm beige-cream with a crystalline, rippled texture reminiscent of onyx or quartzite, lighter cream-white areas and fine beige and pale-brown veins; the manufacturer describes horizontal veining, while in the photo, where the design appears in a mirror-image layout, the lines fan out. As a Coante quartz slab it has water absorption below 0.07%, abrasion resistance class A4 and impact resistance above 3.36 J (20 mm specimen). The options include a polished or Leather surface, 330 × 164 or 310 × 152 cm slabs and 15, 20 and 30 mm thicknesses. It suits kitchen and bathroom countertops, islands, wall cladding and furniture, where it brings a warm, natural atmosphere. A damp cloth and a neutral cleaner are all that cleaning requires; on-site grinding of the printed face is best avoided, and hot pans always need a trivet.
Why choose Petra Pax
- Printed Full Body – the design appears to continue on the edges
- Warm beige with an onyx look
- Arteo Natural series – 3D InkJet digital print
- Water absorption < 0.07% – no sealing
