-Salome-
Description & Features
The quartz range that Salome is part of is made by three Far East companies on lines different from Breton ones, with every slab made by hand – so the vein network differs on each one. The design relies on a clean contrast: large, untouched white areas and fine, sharp veins in dark charcoal with a slightly brownish tint, lit here and there by small glints of gold and ochre. The veins form a sparse, angular network like cracks in ice, with the longer lines slanting upwards to the right; the look recalls white marble with fine lightning-like veins, more minimal than a classic Calacatta. It requires no sealing, as quartz and resin form a non-porous, stain-resistant surface; the technical figures in the table are typical of the category, since there are no official values for the product. It is available in a polished finish, with sizes and thicknesses confirmed per order. In contemporary kitchens and bathrooms it gives a clean look to countertops, islands and splashbacks, and it can also clad walls. To keep it clean, a damp cloth with a mild cleaner is enough; hot cookware goes on a trivet and direct sun is avoided.
Why choose Salome

- Large clean white areas
- Minimalist crack-like pattern
- No sealing – non-porous
Technical Specifications

| Color & Pattern | Clean white background with fine charcoal veins in a sparse crack-like network and occasional golden glints |
| Hardness (Mohs) | ≈7 (typical for quartz surfaces) |
| Density (g/cm³) | ≈2.3–2.5 (typical range for quartz surfaces – not stated for this product) |
| Water Absorption (%) | Very low (typically < 0.1% for quartz surfaces – no value stated for this product) |
| Frost Resistance | Recommended for interiors; no freeze–thaw test data are published for this product and, because of the resin binder, permanent sun exposure (UV) can change the colour |
| Acid Sensitivity | High stain resistance thanks to the non-porous surface; no chemical-resistance class is published – avoid strong acids, alkalis and solvents |
