Spa Black belongs to Belenco's Loft series, which the Turkish producer of the LOTTE group recommends for contemporary combinations with wood, metal and bold colours. Over a deep, almost pure black, a dense network of short, fine white and pale grey veins spreads evenly, branching irregularly like the fine cracks of a black marble; the polish deepens the black and brings out the veins. It is produced with Bretonstone technology in Manisa and, being non-porous, needs no sealing: Belenco states water absorption of 0.04%, flexural strength of at least 40 MPa (F4) and chemical resistance class C4. It comes in 15, 20 and 30 mm thicknesses and in Extra 152 × 310 cm and Jumbo 165 × 330 cm slabs, and the same design is also available in a matt version, Spa Black Seta. It suits kitchen countertops and islands, bathroom vanity tops, wall cladding and splashbacks, as well as tables. Care is limited to a damp cloth with a mild neutral detergent; hot pans should always go on a trivet, and strong acids, alkalis and solvents should be avoided.
