-Spa Black Seta-
Description & Features
Belenco gathers in its Seta Collection the colours it also offers in a matt finish, so that one can choose between a glossy and a matt look; Spa Black Seta is the matt counterpart of the polished Spa Black, with the same colour code (8727). In the close-up the black takes on a velvety, charcoal feel without gloss, while the white veins – fine, broken and formed by tiny bright grains – branch freely across the surface. The matt finish does not change the properties of the material: water absorption of 0.04%, flexural strength ≥ 40 MPa and compressive strength of about 230 MPa, according to Belenco's data. In the static friction measurement (ASTM C1028) the Seta surface gives 0.66 when wet, against 0.47 for the polished one – a useful figure for interior stairs and floors. Slabs come in two sizes, Extra (152 × 310 cm) and Jumbo (165 × 330 cm), 15, 20 or 30 mm thick, and suit islands and kitchen countertops, bathrooms, wall cladding, stairs and floors. It is cleaned with a damp cotton cloth and a little neutral liquid soap; it needs no wax or sealing, while hot cookware without a trivet and aggressive chemicals are best avoided.
Why choose Spa Black Seta
- Matte version of Spa Black – no reflections
- Wet friction 0.66 vs 0.47 (polished)
- Water absorption 0.04% – no sealing
- Slabs up to 165 × 330 cm, 15/20/30 mm thick
