-Statuario Crux-

Quartz Turkey
Origin: Manisa Organised Industrial Zone (Belenco – Lotte Chemical plant)
From Belenco's Prestige series, Statuario Crux pairs a white background with soft grey clouding and fine grey veins with darker, broken clusters that criss-cross diagonally over the whole slab. It brings the cool elegance of Statuario marble to a non-porous, easy-care quartz surface – ideal for kitchen and bathroom countertops, islands and cladding.

Description & Features

The cool, grey-and-white style of Statuario marble is carried over to a quartz surface in Statuario Crux, a design from Belenco's Prestige series. The white background has soft, barely visible grey clouding, while across it spread fine grey veins that cross diagonally, with small clusters of darker grey and broken branches where they meet, creating a mesh with a sense of depth. Belenco, a subsidiary of Lotte Chemical, makes its slabs in Manisa with the Italian Bretonstone technology, from quartz grains and resin that give a compact, non-porous body. According to its technical data, water absorption is 0.04%, flexural strength at least 40 MPa (class F4) and abrasion resistance class A4, while the static coefficient of friction of the polished surface, useful for floors, is 0.76 dry and 0.47 wet (ASTM C1028). Statuario Crux comes in a polished finish, in 15, 20 and 30 mm thicknesses and in Extra (152 × 310 cm) and Jumbo (165 × 330 cm) slabs, suited to large continuous surfaces. It is used for kitchen and bathroom countertops, islands, wall cladding, stairs and interior floors. It needs no sealer or wax; a damp cloth with neutral soap is enough, while solvents, strong acids and hot cookware without a trivet must be avoided.

Why choose Statuario Crux

  • Statuario marble look with criss-crossing grey veins
  • Belenco Prestige series (LOTTE group)
  • Belenco lists NSF & GREENGUARD Gold certifications

Export & project supply

SKARIS MARBLE supplies Statuario Crux to stone importers, fabricators, architects and hotel projects outside Greece. From our facility in Thessaloniki we handle the whole order in-house:

  • Slab selection and matching – we grade and match the slabs for colour and veining, so a large order stays uniform across the whole project.
  • Cut-to-size and finishing – pieces cut, edged and finished to your drawings, numbered per room or elevation and ready to install.
  • Mixed shipments – Greek marbles, granites, porous limestone (porolithos) and quartz surfaces can be combined in one order.
  • Export packing – crated and labelled for sea or road freight, ex-works Thessaloniki; delivered terms quoted on request.
