-Borghini Grey-
Description & Features
In Borghini Grey, a member of the Marble series in Coante’s Arteo line, a clean, bright white meets grey veins that open out like branches. Here the veins are not formed by mixing the raw materials but digitally printed with 3D InkJet technology onto a quartz slab in a similar white tone, at micron-level precision, so that even the finest crack in the design is rendered. In the photo, grey veins of varying width – broad, soft bands forming chevrons and V shapes, with a fine web of hairline cracks between them – are set out in a mirror-image (bookmatch) layout. Behind the design lies a non-porous quartz body with water absorption below 0.07%, flexural strength above 35 MPa and chemical resistance class C4, according to Coante’s data. The surface can be polished or Leather and the thickness 15, 20 or 30 mm, in 330 × 164 cm or 310 × 152 cm slabs; for visible edges a mitre is recommended so that the design wraps around the edge. It shows to best effect on kitchen countertops, islands, bathroom vanity tops and wall cladding, where the large slab lets the veins spread out. It is cared for with a damp cloth and a neutral cleaner, with no sealing; grinding or re-polishing it is best avoided, and it needs a trivet under hot cookware.
Why choose Borghini Grey
- Realistic white marble design with grey veins
- 3D InkJet digital print at micron-level precision
- Striking in a mirror-image (bookmatch) layout
- Non-porous quartz base – no sealing

- Slab selection and matching – we grade and match the slabs for colour and veining, so a large order stays uniform across the whole project.
- Cut-to-size and finishing – pieces cut, edged and finished to your drawings, numbered per room or elevation and ready to install.
- Mixed shipments – Greek marbles, granites, porous limestone (porolithos) and quartz surfaces can be combined in one order.
- Export packing – crated and labelled for sea or road freight, ex-works Thessaloniki; delivered terms quoted on request.
