-Calacatta Miranda-

Quartz Turkey
Origin: Muğla, south-west Turkey – Coante plant
Calacatta Miranda by Coante (Allure series) has a very bright, clean white background where sparse fine grey veins intersect to form a restrained, almost geometric composition. A quartz surface with quiet luxury and practicality, ideal for modern kitchens, islands and bathrooms.

Description & Features

Calacatta Miranda belongs to the Allure series of the Essence line and is a contemporary, more restrained take on classic Calacatta. The background is a very bright, cool white with a fine-grained texture; on it, a few fine grey veins trace an almost geometric composition: one long, nearly horizontal line runs across the slab and is crossed by more vertical ones, while small hazy grey tufts form where they meet. The large clear areas between the veins keep the room bright and calm. Coante, founded in 2018 by the Ermaş group and operating a 105,000 m² production campus in Muğla, makes it with Breton technology; the material is solid and non-porous, with water absorption below 0.07%, flexural strength above 35 MPa and Mohs hardness 7. Slabs measure 330 × 164 or 310 × 152 cm and are 15, 20 or 30 mm thick, with a polished or textured leather finish. It is suitable for kitchen and bathroom countertops, islands, wall cladding and splashbacks, stairs and interior floors. Cleaning is done with a damp cloth or a neutral cleaner; abrasives and direct contact with hot cookware should be avoided.
