-Statuario Forma-
Description & Features
Statuario Forma is made in the Far East on non-Breton lines; because the slabs are shaped individually by hand, the veins do not fall in the same place on every slab, and for large surfaces selecting the slabs in person is recommended. Its pattern is sculptural: on a clean, bright white background spread wide grey bands with a mottled, cloudy interior and darker charcoal tones, strongest in one corner of the slab, outlined by fine, jagged dark lines. The flow mainly follows a rising diagonal, while on both sides the veins become almost vertical; hairlines cross the white fields. The contrast is moderate and the look recalls a bold Statuario. Technical characteristics are not published for this design, so the table gives the typical values of quartz surfaces; as a quartz-and-resin composite it is non-porous and is not sealed. It is delivered with a polished surface; sizes and thicknesses are confirmed before fabrication. For islands, kitchen and bathroom countertops, wall cladding or furniture, it combines a dynamic look with easy care. For cleaning, use a damp cloth and a mild cleaner, put a trivet under hot cookware and choose it for interiors.
