-Statuario Extra-
Description & Features
Statuario Extra comes from a Far East producer with technology other than Breton, where every slab is the result of a hand-made process – which explains the natural flow of the veins as well as the small deviations from slab to slab. The design renders the look of Italian Statuario with large-scale movement: on a bright, neutral white, wide veins in light smoky grey – with a cloudy, slightly granular interior and white oval islands in places – cross the slab diagonally from upper left to lower right, while on one side a second vein system runs down almost vertically. Around them, many fine, crisp grey lines run in parallel or cross, adding detail and depth; the contrast is moderate. It is a non-porous composite of quartz and resin that needs no sealing and resists stains; in the absence of a technical sheet, the table contains the typical values of quartz surfaces. The finish is polished; slab size and thickness are clarified at the quotation stage. Its large-scale movement is best used on islands and wall cladding, while it also suits kitchen and bathroom countertops, interior stairs and furniture. Its care is simple – a damp cloth and a neutral detergent – as long as hot cookware without a trivet, strong chemicals and sun exposure are avoided.
Why choose Statuario Extra

| Color & Pattern | Bright white background with wide smoky-grey veins and many fine grey lines |
| Hardness (Mohs) | ≈7 (typical for quartz surfaces) |
| Density (g/cm³) | ≈2.3–2.5 (typical range for quartz surfaces – not stated for this product) |
| Water Absorption (%) | Very low (typically < 0.1% for quartz surfaces – no value stated for this product) |
| Frost Resistance | Recommended for interiors; no freeze–thaw test data are published for this product and, because of the resin binder, permanent sun exposure (UV) can change the colour |
