-Mont Blanc-

Quartz Turkey
Origin: Manisa Organised Industrial Zone (Belenco – Lotte Chemical plant)
Mont Blanc (listed by Belenco as Mont Blanc Snow) is a granular white from the Essential series, with scattered translucent greyish grains and occasional black specks. Its texture brings freshness and practicality to kitchen countertops, islands and bathrooms, with all the advantages of a non-porous quartz surface.

Description & Features

In Belenco's catalogue the colour appears as Mont Blanc Snow and belongs to the Essential series, which according to the manufacturer showcases the power of simplicity. Belenco (Lotte Chemical Turkey, LOTTE group) produces its slabs in the Manisa Organised Industrial Zone with Bretonstone technology. Unlike veined whites, Mont Blanc has a granular character: small translucent, light grey grains of various sizes are densely spread over a white background, with occasional black specks between them; from a distance the surface looks white, while up close the texture of the grains shows beneath the polished finish. As a quartz-and-resin composite it has no pores; Belenco's indicative technical data (common to all its colours) give water absorption of 0.04%, density of 2.3–2.4 g/cm³, flexural strength ≥ 40 MPa and compressive strength of about 230 MPa. Slabs in the series are produced in Jumbo 165 × 330 cm and Extra 152 × 310 cm sizes and in 15, 20 and 30 mm thicknesses. Mont Blanc can be used for kitchen and bathroom countertops, islands, splashbacks, tables and interior floors. Daily cleaning is done with a damp cloth and a little mild neutral liquid, such as dishwashing liquid; no sealing is needed, but hot cookware needs a trivet and strong chemicals should be avoided.
