Quartz Vietnam / China (Aurea Stone plants, per the EPD)
Scala, from the Opera Collection of the Symphony by Aurea Stone line, is a printed recycled-glass surface (RGS), not quartz: grey veins with golden and rusty accents spread across a milky white background. Rich in detail, it suits kitchen countertops and islands, bathroom vanity tops and shower surrounds, for interior use only.

Description & Features

Strong veins and rich detail characterise Scala, a design from the Opera Collection of the Symphony by Aurea Stone line, produced in Vietnam and China according to the EPD. Across a milky white background runs a dense network of grey veins, from light grey to charcoal, brought to life by golden and rusty orange touches; in one corner of the slab the shades gather into a darker grey-rust zone that adds a sense of depth. The manufacturer suggests it for classic, richly detailed interiors and for warm spaces with wood, rattan or jute and hardware in copper or gold. The material is RGS (Recycled Glass Surfaces): up to 90% recycled materials such as glass, bound with resins and free of crystalline-silica materials – it is worked like quartz, but technically it is not a quartz surface. The pattern is printed on one face with Nano-Ink technology and penetrates up to 1 mm, so mitred edges are preferred. The slab is 3200 × 1600 mm, 20 mm thick, polished, and bookmatch is available. The NEOS protectant keeps the surface clean, with a lifetime anti-stain warranty. Ideal for kitchen countertops and islands, bathroom vanity tops and shower surrounds, always indoors; it cleans with a damp cloth and a neutral-pH cleaner.
